Annandale Village offers our F/T & P/T C.N.A's the opportunity to become CMA's at our expense! Annandale Village is currently searching for compassionate, flexible team players to join our team! We have F/T & P/T 1st Shift (7a-3:30p), 2nd Shift (3p-11:30p) & 3rd Shift (11p-7:30a) positions available in our 32 bed skilled nursing facility.

The ideal CNA will be performing non-professional direct care duties following the care plan under the direction and supervision of our Director of Nursing. Assists with providing skills training to maintain abilities of our clients including, but not limited to; maintaining a safe and clean room, laundry skills, personal hygiene, and interpersonal relationships with their housemates. Maintains a positive physical, social and psychological environment for our clients. Demonstrated organizational and communication skills are essential. The ability to multitask and cope with stress in difficult situations is necessary. Participates in the necessary skills training for our clients to meet their goals through the AFLS assessment process.

The essential duties & responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Assists residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, preparation for medical tests and exams, ear and eye care and positioning in and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, etc.
  • Provides nursing functions as directed by the LPN Charge Nurse including daily perineal care, catheter care, turn residents in bed, sponge baths, measure and record temperature, pulse and respirations, weigh and measure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures and observe and report presence of skin breakdown.
  • Maintains resident confidentiality; treats residents with kindness, dignity and respect; knows and complies with Resident’s Rights rules; and promptly reports all resident complaints, accidents and incidents to the charge nurse.
  • Report changes in resident conditions to the charge nurse; and document all necessary information and data and report all accidents, incidents and safety issues.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and Georgia state certification requirements; speak and understand English and able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Must have a High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED). Must obtain CMA within 120 days of hire date. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License, proof of vehicle insurance, and meet company policy regarding MVR requirements. Must meet state requirements regarding a GBI and FBI criminal history record check which requires fingerprinting. Must undergo and pass a drug screening and screening for Tuberculosis.
